Several visiting pastors who have served the congregation at Living Lord Lutheran Church in Howland, came back to the church last year to take part in the church's 50th anniversary celebration.
As the congregation prepared for the culmination of its celebration on Jan. 12, over a period of six Sundays from Nov. 10 to Dec. 15, former pastors were invited to return to the church to recall their time there and to share memories.
On Nov. 17, the Rev. Paul R. Williams and his wife, Jill, shared remembrances during the service. Karen Abbott and her son, Michael, attended the services on Nov. 24 and shared memories of the late Rev. Ronald W. Abbott.
