HOWLAND - Ruth Beatrice Nash, 84, passed away peacefully at Trumbull Memorial Hospital on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.
She was born Nov. 30, 1929, in Charleoi, Pa., the daughter of Albert and Olive Leach Como.
Ruth graduated from Warren G. Harding class of 1948. Mrs. Nash was a longtime employee of the Warren Tribune advertising department. She was a member of SCOPE.
Ruth enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling and watching the horses at Mountaineer. Most of all, she loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Linda Barnard, David (Michele Smith) Law and Gary (Diane) Law; grandchildren, Dawn, Lisa, Lori, Holly, Jamie and Mariah; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and her aunt, Delores French. She is also survived by her beloved cats, Peanut and Trouble.
Ruth rejoins her dancing partner and love of her life, Al Cannacci; her parents; and a brother, Albert Como Jr.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Monday at Crown Hill Burial Park and Mausoleum, with Pastor Kathy Ake officiating. Family will receive friends at the mausoleum chapel from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.
Should friends desire, memorials in Ruth's name may be given to the Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, OH 44406.
