CAMPBELL - During their contest last season, Lakeview's Alli Pavlik set a school record against the Campbell Red Devils by scoring 47 points, breaking a record set by Ali Gagne.
After Thursday night's performance, Campbell had the feeling of deja vu.
Pavlik dropped a new career high and school record 56 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Red Devils, 98-31.
The senior had her best quarter in the first, dropping in 17 points. On the night, she was 60 percent from the field (22 of 36). She also was 8 of 13 from the foul line.
According to the Ohio High School Athletic Association record books, Pavlik's performance now has her tied for 17th in OHSAA history for points scored in a single game and tied for ninth in field goals made.
The Bulldogs as a whole shot well from the floor, contecting on 59 percent of their shots. Callie Schmitt added 10 points and six rebounds for the Bulldogs, who are now 8-0 (4-0 All-American Conference, National Division).
Tashonna Craft led Campbell with 13 points.
