James Zehringer, director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, will address the Chamber's Government Affairs Council luncheon Jan. 16 at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles. A panel discussion about shale development and other topics will follow his talk.
Named ODNR director in 2011, Zehringer has said environmentally safe development of shale is one of his three key priorities. Others include regulating dangerous wild animals and reducing phosphorus in state waterways.
