CHAMPION - Ann Thomas, 86, of Champion, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.
She was born May 14, 1927, in Clarksburg, W.Va., the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary DiScuillo Jerome. She married the late Raymond Thomas Jr. on June 26, 1948.
She was a graduate of Victory High School in Clarksburg and was employed as a salesperson at United Telephone for 15 years.
Ann was a founding family and member of St. William Catholic Church. At the church, she was involved in the Women's Guild and the Golden Agers.
She loved to cook, do needlepoint, make crafts, and was an avid Indians fan. Ann loved her family and friends, whom she was very devoted to.
She is survived by her daughters, Cyndy Thomas of Champion and Marianne Thomas of Hubbard; son, Mike (Mary) Thomas of Alpharetta, Ga.; brothers, John Jerome of Hanover, Mass., and James Jerome of Clarksburg; sisters, Sue Beverina of Clarksburg, Angelina Smith of Clarksburg and Lena Medina of Spelter, W.Va.; and grandchildren, Brian, Lisa and Matthew Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Anthony, Fred and Dominic Jerome.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. William Catholic Church, where the Rev. Michael D. Balash will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta Township.
