HOWLAND - Robert "Tom" Thompson Meredith, 74, of Howland, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013.
He was born on Nov. 23, 1938, in Marietta, the only son of Dr. Roy and Irene Thompson Meredith.
He was a graduate of Marietta College and was a retired bank auditor.

Tom married Mary Jayne Kemp on Dec. 16, 1967, in Ashtabula.
His greatest achievements were as a husband to Mary Jayne Kemp Meredith; father to Julie-Anne Meredith Roddy and Liane Michelle Meredith-Stewart; and grandfather of Katherine (Katie) Roddy, Jillian (Jill) Roddy and Kellan Roddy. He appreciated and loved his sons-in-law, Michael Roddy and Dave Stewart, and the love given to his daughters. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Charles (Chuck) Kemp and family.
Tom loved life as it is, not how you want it to be.
A private family service will be held at later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, Warren.
