WARREN - Eva Mae Jackson, 89, of 1000 Homewood Ave. S.E., Warren, died at 4:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Akron City Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born March 4, 1924, in Warren, the daughter of John and Laura Willis Taylor and was raised by Oscar and Sarah Campbell.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of Supreme Council of the House of Jacob.
Survivors include six sons, Felix of Alliance, Steven of Vallejo, Calif., Andrew of Hubbard and Paul, Phillip and Corneilus, all of Warren; two daughters, Edith Allgood and Zalenta Jackson, both of Warren; one sister, Josephine Gibson of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, where calling hours will be one hour prior to service. Family also will receive friends at the family home, 1000 Homewood Ave. S.E.
Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
