MISSION TO HOLD HARVEST PARTY: The Warren Family Mission is hosting a Harvest Party for children from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the mission, 361 Elm Road. The mission will provide fun and safe activities for children up to age 13. The children are invited to come in non-scary costumes and encouraged to enter the costume contest for a prize. Candy will be given out at every activity station. A light meal will also be provided. The mission is accepting donations for candy and small trinkets for the children at 2671 Youngstown Road or the Elm Road location. Donations will be accepted through Wednesday. MEDICAID TOPIC OF PROGRAM: The Austin Starlite Neighborhood Association will be meet at 6:30 p.m. today at the First Church of God 1951 Parkman Road. The speaker is Amy Patrick who will discuss the Affordable Care Act and Medicare / Medicaid.
ASSOCIATION TO MEET: The Northeast Warren Neighborhood Association will meet at 7 p.m. today at St Paul's Lutheran Church, E. Market Street. Guest speaker will be Trumbull County Commissioner Frank Fuda.
GROUP TO MEET: The South West Neighborhood will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. Discussion willl be on crime and safety and block watch. On Thursday will be a "trunk or treats" from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Prince Hall Lodge, 505 Highland Ave. S.W.
TRUNK OR TREAT EVENTS: Hartford Township will hold a Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the lot at the township center, state Routes 7 and 305. First Baptist Church, 26 E. Church St., Niles, will hold a trunk or treat for children 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31. Harvest Point Church, 6100 Tod Ave. (Lordstown Plaza), will hold trunk or treat from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday in the plaza parking lot. Coffee, cider and donuts will be offered. Chestnut Ridge Church of God, 7215 Chestnut-Ridge Road, Hubbard, will present a Light the Trunk or Treat event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Braceville Christian Church, 4387 Church St. S.W., will hold trunk or treat from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday with hot chocolate and coffee.
HOSPICE TO HOLD FUNDRAISER: Hospice of the Valley volunteers are sponsoring a fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Dominic Parish Hall, 77 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown.
