ABRAHAM LINCOLN TOPIC?OF?PROGRAM: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, will host a free program about "Abraham Lincoln After 200 Years" at 2 p.m. Sunday. The presentation is by Gerry Bazer, dean of arts and sciences at Owens Community College, who will explore how Lincoln overcame all those obstacles.

RIDGE TO HOLD SPIRIT DAY: Mineral Ridge 10th annual community Spirit Day will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the school grounds. Parade participants should meet at 1 p.m. at the high school student parking lot for line up. The parade will travel along state Route 46.
NILES HOSTS COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE: The second annual Niles Trailhead Community Bicycle Run will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday beginning at the Niles Trailhead in downtown Niles. The event is sponsored by Stoneyard Grill and Tavern and all proceeds raised will be for The Niles Community Services. Refreshments and lunch following the ride provided by Stoneyard Grill and Tavern.

HALLOWEEN EVENT PLANNED: The Scrappers and First Place Bank will present the 15th annual Trick or Treat at the Eastwood Field from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the field in Niles. The event is for children ages 12 and younger.
Tickets are required for the event at 330-505-0000. Area businesses are welcome to take part.
AUTISM EVENT SET: Autism Society of Ohio and Mill Creek MetroParks will offer patient Family Portrait Session for families with disabilities. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, 7574 Columbiana Canfield Road, Canfield. Reservations will be taken for the three 20-minute slots per hour by calling 330-501-7553.
HERITAGE EVENT SET: The Ethnic Heritage Society of the Mahoning Valley will present genealogist Bob Jerin "Your Door to Ellis Island" from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kravitz Deli, Belmont Avenue, Liberty. Jerin will speak on practical steps to benefit from resources at Ellis Island.

BELL DISPLAY: The Sutliff Museum on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library has a display of bell collections. The museum is open from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday.
OCTOBER IS FARM TO SCHOOL MONTH: October is Farm to School Month, with local farmers providing fresh fruits and vegetables to area school districts.
The Lake-to-River Cooperative takes part. School districts throughout Trumbull and Mahoning County can purchase apples, melons, peppers, tomatoes and other products directly from farmers for use in school lunch menus.
Partners in this effort include Lake-to-River Cooperative, the Ohio State University Extension and Trumbull County Health Education Department.
