VIENNA - Joann A. Chuirazzi, 76, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
She was born June 25, 1937, in Hannastown, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Louise Piovesan Panigall.
She was a 1955 graduate of Girard High School; employed for 25 years as a press operator at Packard Electric in Warren, retiring in 1995; a member of Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Vienna; and enjoyed crochet.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Nick W. "Gigs" Chuirazzi, whom she married Nov. 8, 1958; two sons, Jeffrey Chuirazzi of Glendale, Ariz., and Kevin Chuirazzi of Stewart, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah (David) Nunamaker of Midland, Mich., and Michelle (Eugene) McCarthy of Vienna; a sister, Rose Consider of Vienna; three grandchildren, Rachelle Chuirazzi, Jessica Chuirazzi and Robert Chuirazzi; a great-grandson, Alexander White, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Vienna. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Denis Bouchard officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
