WARREN -- Trumbull County commissioners today are expected to move ahead with getting a new roof for a portion of the Engineer's Office administration building.
The proposal submitted by Durolast Roofing of Michigan would cost $34,876, which includes buying the roof system, installation done by Holko Enercon of Fowler and a 15-year labor and material warranty.
Engineer Randy Smith said the portion of the building that would get the improvements is used to keep equipment and contains a sign shop. It is part of the administration building, but does not have administrative offices, Smith said.
The roof is original to the building, built in 1978. It's been patched multiple times, Smith said, but ``has reached the end of its useful life.''
Casino revenue is being used to pay for the improvement.
