It is no surprise that President Obama's approval rating is in decline. The surprise is that it is not lower. He has truly bamboozled the American people and I have to shake my head every day when I see him still campaigning before his misled followers who continue to cheer him on. Don't they pay attention? Are these the ill-informed folks they speak of? I guess it is true that you can fool some of the people all of the time.
He lied to the American public regarding Obamacare, and yet the Democrats go along with him knowing how the majority of Americans feel about his health care law. Hopefully, memories will prevail at the next election.
He said that if we like our current healthcare plan, we can keep it and that no one would take it away no matter what. Well, guess what? Like many Americans, I just received a letter stating that my health care plan is now with an insurer I would never have selected and I now have to choose a new plan. I was very happy with my plan of 32 years. Also, he said that if we like our doctors, we can keep them. That, too, is not true. There are many doctors who are not taking patients covered by Medicare and some other insurance plans as well. Also, we have no idea at this time as to how many doctors will even participate in this mess. He can sweet talk us all he wants, but the facts are the facts.
He also told us that Obamacare would save us money. This is another huge falsehood. An inexpensive insurance plan premium might be relatively inexpensive, but the deductible can be very high ranging anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars. There are some who will possibly feel a little relief, but the majority of us will be paying far more than we currently are or have been. It is all about redistribution of wealth and no one can deny that. By the end of his term, no one will recognize the good old USA.
If this Obamacare is so terrific, why would and why should anyone in this country be exempt from it? If it is good for you and me then it should apply to everyone, all being equal, which would include our politicians. Actually, wouldn't it be a good idea that they, too, experience the laws they pass for us? Also, remember when they laughed at Sarah Palin for her death panels remark? By the time Obamacare is fully implemented, I am sure that most of us will be begging for death panels simply to put us out of our misery.
