PHOENIX - Frank Joseph Sliwa Sliver, 93, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, in Phoenix.
He was born Jan. 19, 1920, on a farm in Champion and attended Champion School, where he graduated in 1938.
He moved to Phoenix at the age of 19. He worked in the automobile business all of his life and was owner of Howard Chrysler-Plymouth in Glendale, Ariz. He also was a member of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Mounted Posse.

In Phoenix, he met and married his love, Elaine Smith, with whom he enjoyed 66 years of hunting, fishing and traveling the outdoors of Arizona, until her death in 2009.
He is survived by his two daughters, Laura Johnson and Gay Fedigan-Crabbs; four grandchildren, Frank Fedigan and Alex, Adrian and Jennie Crabbs; five great-grandchildren, Kiara Fedigan and Jordyn, Bryce, Macy and Jane Crabbs; and his extended family, Sterling Johnson and Rick Crabbs; a nephew, John (Carolyn) Sliwa; and a niece, Helen (John) Riachy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to a Hospice of your choice. "He will be missed!!"
