BOARDMAN - William Bryer, 97, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
He was born Feb. 7, 1916, in Campbell, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Sedlacko Bryer.
William retired from Pennsylvania & Lake Erie Railroad. He was a member of Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman.
Survivors include four children, Donna Jean Suchora of Austintown, William R. of Lutz, Fla., Eileen LaLama of Woodstock, Ga., and James of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, James of Pulaski, Pa., and Frank of Grove City, Pa.; a stepbrother, Donald of Lowellville; and three stepsisters, Dorothy Bryer of Lowellville, Vernie Navarra of Poland and Barbara Zenn of Youngstown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene V. Kamensky Bryer; a son, David; two grandchildren; five brothers; two sisters; and a stepbrother.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown, where a Parastas will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral services will take place 10 a.m. Monday at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman, where family and friends may begin to gather at 9 a.m.
A committal service will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
