HOWLAND - Helen Caroline Shaker, 80, of Howland, passed away peacefully after a beautiful life on Sept. 13, 2013, with her family by her side.
She was born Aug. 17, 1933, in Ellwood City, Pa., a daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Hulick.
Helen had been employed at Packard Electric Division of GM for 25 years, and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Helen was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with her family. Helen was adored and loved by all who knew her.
Blessed and loving memories of Helen will be cherished. She is survived by three sons, Alan (Lucinda) Shaker, Edward Shaker and Stephen Shaker; two daughters, Jeannie (Ian) Kelso and Connie (Sam) Mongelluzzo; 12 grandchildren, Lisa Shaker, Ben (Erin) Shaker, Chris (Valerie) Shaker, Daniel (Melissa) Shaker, Christen Shaker, Melissa (Joel) Taylor, Cass (Ali) Lahouti, Anthony Mongelluzzo, Ashley (Andy) Burnett, Justin Shaker, Ryan, Mark and Ashley Kelso; and four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Michael, Vincent and Jack. Also surviving are her two loving sisters, Ruth (John) Smith and Dolly (Andy) Zaben.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Shaker; two sisters, Georgia Perin and Mary Grace Knight; and two brothers, Robert and Stephen Hulick.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Warren Family Mission or the St. Vincent DePaul Society in her memory. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
