HUBBARD - Jean E. Sammons, 70, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at home.
He was born Nov. 28, 1942, in Williamson, Va., the son of Andrew "AJ" J. and Pricey E. Varney Sammons Kimberlain and stepfather Sam Kimberlain.
He retired as a truck driver for Preston Trucking, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, the former Virginia L. Tolnar; three children, Leslie H. White and Glenn A., both of Niles, and Matthew D.; three stepchildren, David L. Binion, Brian J. Binion and Angela N. Lattyak, all of Hubbard; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Jack D. and Paul D., both of Kentucky; a sister, Nita C. Jackson of Kentucky; and a stepsister, Amy Maynard of Forest Hills, Ky.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home, where calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
Jean will be laid to rest in Hubbard Union Cemetery with full military honors provided by Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
