CHAMPION - Betty Louise Hinebaugh, 85, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 25, 2013, with her family by her side at her home.
Betty was born Dec. 29, 1927, in Warren, the daughter of the late Clare Dewey and Alice Audrey Bailey Harley.
A graduate of the Champion High School class of 1946, Betty worked as a secretary for the First Assembly Church of God, retiring in 1993 after 25 years of service.
She was a member of the church, where she also played piano and organ for 59 years. Betty enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. Her love of travel took her into almost every state.
Betty was an avid lover of animals and loved her pets immensely.
Betty will be sadly missed and her memories will be cherished by her husband, Harold Hinebaugh, to whom she was united in marriage Sept. 3, 1948; children Vickki Lynn Hinebaugh of Beach City, Jeffrey Lee (Lori) Hinebaugh of Girard and Kimberly Rae (Terry) Jarocki of Farmdale; one brother, David Harley of Deer Island, Ore.; four grandchildren, Zachariah Marsh, Audrey Zimmerman, Dana Hinebaugh and Rena Hinebaugh; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Lillian Zimmerman.
Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Ellis Harley and Richard Harley; one sister, Audrey Harley; and a grandson, Benjamin Marsh.
Friends may call from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
