YOUNGSTOWN - Frances S. Donald, 82, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Northside Medical Center.
She was born April 1, 1931, in Sumter, S.C., the daughter of James King Kennedy and Lydia Andrews.
Mrs. Donald had been a nurse's aide with the former Southside Hospital, and was a member of St. Andrewes AME Church.
Survivors include five children, Lenzy, Joyce Callins, Monique Harris and Tammy Donald, all of Youngstown, and Michael of Byron, Ga.; a surrogate son, William Harris of Youngstown; two brothers, Robert Andrews of Pikesville, Md., and Sammie Andrews of Clarence, N.Y.; a sister, Wilhemenia Reed of Buffalo, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Donald, and a sister and two grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Frances will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrewes AME Church, where friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday.
Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
