WARREN - Attendance at Trumbull County Fair was up 3.6 percent over last year, despite a literal wash out on its second day.
Numbers released Monday show that 44,547 paid to enter the annual agricultural exhibition in Bazetta, compared to 42,918 in 2012.
Heavy rain hurt attendance figures Wednesday, when only 875 came through the gates. The fair eventually closed because of the poor weather. Last year on Wednesday, 8,645 paid to get inside.
