Fri. 10:41am: UPDATE2 Howland motorcycle victims identified

HOWLAND - The Ohio State Patrol identified two motorcyclists involved in a crash on North Road at Crestview Avenue Thursday night.

Troopers said Nicholas Cost, 56, of Warren was transported to St. Joseph Health Center with life threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.

David Robinson, 50, of Williamsport, Pa., was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers said neither man was wearing a helmet and both were ejected from their motorcycles during the collision.

According to reports, Robinson was traveling north on North Road, but failed to yield while attempting to turn left onto Crestview Avenue. He was struck by Cost, who was traveling south on North Road.

The accident remains under investigation.
