FARM MARKET SET: The Howland Township Farmers Market will begin its new season from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howland Township gazebo on East Market Street. The market will be held every Saturday from July 6 to Oct. 12. The open-air market will include various produce and food.

COMPOST IN THE STEW: The Liberty Library Branch, 415 Churchill Hubbard Road, will hold "Compost Stew" at 1 p.m. today with Holly Carine of the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District. The program is for children ages 5 to 12. Registration is required by calling 330-759-2589.
LAKE SERIES STARTS: The Mosquito Lake Marina will hold its "Lounging at the Lake" series with Shockwave at 5 p.m. and Heather Merritt's Birds in Flight program from 4 to 6 p.m.
