WARREN - Cycling enthusiasts soon will be able to ride the majority of the Warren bike trail.

"The second phase of the bike path will be completed in July," Paul Makosky, Warren's engineer said this week. An estimated $1.8 million is being spent on the current phase of the project.

The majority of the work that still needs to be done is the restoration of the Ohio Central Railroad bridge, located south of Woodland Avenue.

"We are about 75 percent complete with the second phase," he said. "Warren is the largest municipality in which the trail is traveling through. We has some issues that other communities did not experience."
