WARREN - Police here are investigating two robberies - one late Thursday and another early today - where individuals were jumped by more than one attacker.

A 35-year-old Kinsman man said he had just left a friend's home where he was watching a basketball game when he was jumped by two men on Parkman Road N.W. shortly before 2 a.m. today.

Speaking to officers at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, the victim told police his wallet and an unknown amount of cash were stolen. He suffered wounds to his head and originally was found lying in a front yard on Parkman.

About 7:30 p.m. Thursday, a 21-year-old Newton Falls man told police that he was walking on Pearl Street S.W. when a man he knows started assaulting him.

Another suspect hoped from a car and joined the first suspect in the attack. The second suspect lifted his shirt to reveal he had a gun in his waistband.

The victim suffered facial injuries and was treated at St. Joseph Health Center.
