WARREN - Traffic at the Youngstown Road-North Road intersection on Warren's east side is about to increase.

Construction is under way for a new Bottom Dollar Food at 1756 North Road and O'Reilly Auto Parts store at 4468 Youngstown Road S.E. Both are targeted for late summer openings.

Owner and operator Delhaize America will host a job fair in Warren today, with plans to hire 50 local employees for the new store. The company is investing $1.5 million on construction of the 18,661-square-foot building on the northeast corner of the intersection near Arby's restaurant, according to information filed with the Warren building department.

Bottom Dollar has an increasing presence in the Youngstown-Warren market, having opened three Youngstown locations last year, two on Youngstown's South Side and one on the city's West Side.

Across the busy Youngstown Road, O'Reilly Automotive is investing $455,000 on construction of a 7,225 square-foot building on the southwest side of the intersection, according to information provided by the Warren building department.
