STUART, Fla. - Janet Belle Long, 82, formerly of Warren, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Stuart, Fla.
Janet was born to the late Roy and Erma Wonnacott Goldsborough on Dec. 22, 1930, in Jefferson County, Adena.
On Aug. 7, 1963, Janet married her late husband of 19 years, Clyde Leroy Long.
Janet worked as a head bakery manager at the Giant Eagle on Mahoning Avenue in Warren for more than 20 years.
In 1996, Janet moved to Stuart, Fla., to be closer to her daughter. While in Florida, Janet enjoyed spending time and taking care of her grandchildren, Kasey and Emma.
Janet is survived by her daughters, Pamela Luyster (Robert) of Adena and Kimberly J. (Troy) Long- Fillmore of Jensen Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Bobby, Jennifer, Tara, Tiffany, Kasey and Emma; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Wyatt, Marek, Liam and Ava; and sisters, Ruth Autullo and Margie Goldsborough.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; son, Joseph A. Slusaracyk; parents, Roy and Erma; and a sister, Eleanor Meddles.
Calling hours will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, at Lane Funeral Homes, Robert-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive N.E., where there will be services for Janet at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
