The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until midnight for much of east central and southwestern Pennsylvania. Also, a flood watch is in effect until 5 p.m. tomorrow.
There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms tonight and into early Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The main risk will be for damaging winds and hail, but there is also a small potential for a tornado to occur.
Areas listed for the tornado watch include Columbiana and Tascarawas counties in Ohio including the towns of Carrollton, East Liverpool, East Palestine and Columbiana and Allegheny and Beaver counties in Pennsylvania.
The northern panhandle of West Virginia also is included in the watch.
The watch stretches east into Garrett County in western Maryland.
The severe storms outlook also includes Trumbull, Mahoning, Geauga, Portage and Ashtabula counties and the rest of northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania.
