NEWTON FALLS - Julia C. Tobin, 93, entered into rest Monday, May 6, 2013, at her residence in Newton Falls.
Julia was born Oct. 1, 1919, in Niles, the daughter of Nicholas and Rose Torturo Marchionte.
Julia attained her formal education in the Niles City Schools system and had been employed by Niles Steel Products.
On March 17, 1951, Julia C. Marchionte and John N. Tobin were united in marriage at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. She was a loving wife and caring mother to their daughters, Rose and Judy.
After relocating to the Newton Falls area, Julia was a parishioner of St. Joseph Parish.
Cherished memories of Julia will be carried on by her loving family; her daughters and sons-in-law, Rose A. and William Petro of Canfield and Judy B. and Clarence Van Reenan of Newton Falls; her adored grandson, Christopher Petro of Austintown; her sister, Lena Yannucci of Niles; and her niece, Debbie (David) McLain, and their two sons, David and Daniel.
Preceding Julia were her husband, John, who passed on April 13, 2002; her sisters, Lucille and Theresa; her brothers, Sam, Dan and Tony; and twin siblings who passed in infancy.
Private services will be held at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
Interment will follow in the Newton Township Cemetery in Newton Falls.
