CONNEAUT- Mary T. Batta, 92, died Monday evening, April 8, 2013, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.
She was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Lowellville, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Garchar Novak.
She was a cook at the former Pape's Restaurant in Conneaut and a member of St. Mary / St. Frances Cabrini Parish.
Survivors include a son, Thomas G. of Bloomington, Minn.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Blaine J. Batta; a son, David; and five sisters and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Conneaut. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Marcy Funeral Home in Conneaut.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.
