FOWLER - Myron Joseph McDonough, 62, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at his home and with family by his side.
Joe was born March 31, 1951, in Newark, to the late Joseph B. and Dorothy M. Bowser McDonough.
Joe proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church in Vienna and was employed by the Compass Packing Co. the past six years. Myron also was previously employed at Copperweld (CSC) for 14 years. He was an Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved music, crossword puzzles and history.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon Callihan; five daughters, Kari (Shawn) Wilson of Buckeye Lake, Nicole (Robert) Sarvey of Farmdale, Amanda McDonough of Newark, Mistee (Martin) VanDyke of Howland and Shannon McDonough of Niles; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Judee Meadows.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren Sharon Road, Vienna. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements were handled by the Roberts-Clark Chapel of Lane Family Funeral Homes in Warren.
