Marxism: A form of Atheist government in which the state owns all property and means of production and all of the people work for the government. Two educated intellectuals, Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels, came up with this one. My opinion: They probably were both insane.
Socialism: A form of Marxism used by Vladimir Lenin and his Russian Bolsheviks. This form was a failure from the start but lasted 72 years. Why? The government had all the guns.
Nazism: Another insidious form dreamed up by Adolph Hitler and his drunken buddies in the beer halls of Munich, Germany. Nazism allowed private ownership of property and means of production to certain groups of people. These owners were strictly regulated by the Nazi party. This way, when the economy went well the Nazis would take the credit. When the economy soured the Nazis could blame the greedy bankers and business owners. The Nazis also practiced political correctness run amok.
Republic: A form in which the individual is free to own property and the means of production. The federal government is weak by design and the citizens are protected by a constitution from abuses by the government.
This form was put in place by the people of the U.S. but is fading and beginning to resemble the Nazis. This one will probably be gone in 10 years.
