HOWLAND - William E. Cochran Sr., 70, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his mother's residence.
He was born May 12, 1942, in Warren, the son of William F. and Margaret I. Hake Cochran.
Bill was a kind individual who enjoyed his family and cherished all the family activities.

He retired in 1996 after working 25 years as a millwright at WCI Steel. He also worked at J&L Steel Company and the Warren Sanitary Dairy. He was a member of the Niles First Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed working in his garage and riding motorcycles.
Bill is survived by his mother of Howland; son, William E. (Loree) Cochran Jr. of Howland; and two grandsons, William E. Cochran III and Michael Morrel Jr.
He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Ruth Hazel Burgess Cochran, whom he married July 16, 1960, and who passed away Oct. 12, 2000; and his beloved dog, to whom he was close, Frankie.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, where the funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gary Morgan will officiate.
Burial will be in Howland Township Cemetery.
