WARREN - Andrew C. Bennett, 61, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 1, 1951, in Warren, the son of Jacob E. Bennett and the late Ruby N. Wilson.
Mr. Bennett was employed as a pipefitter at Republic Steel Corp. and also drove a school bus for All God's Children Day Care. Andrew also served as a full-time minister with Jehovah's Witnesses.

He loved to play the bass guitar with his band and especially enjoyed jazz music. He was also an auto-technician and liked to fix cars.
Left to cherish his memory are his father; two sons, Derrick L. Bennett Sr. and Andre (Wanda) Bennett Sr.; two daughters, Andrea (Melvin) Brantley and Annetta (Michael) Salsgiver; six granddaughters; nine grandsons; two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. Also surviving are a brother, Jacob E. Bennett Jr.; and eight sisters, Ramona (Marcel) Owens, Blossom (Renee) Blackburn, Sunserae Battee, Keitsa Bennett Robbins, Melody (Lawrence) Holden, Alisha Williams, Diane Morgan and Candice Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Earline Ford Bennett; a grandson, Andrique Lakel Bennett; and a granddaughter, Aleeria Bennett.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1963 Ewalt Ave., Warren, where Edwin Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
