YOUNGSTOWN - Ronald H. Metzler, 65, formerly of Southington, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Ronald was born Jan. 4, 1948, in Natrona Heights, Pa., the son of Harold and Imogene Blankenship Metzler.
He was a tool and die maker for Delphi Corp. and was of the Protestant faith. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian J. Carrico Metzler; three daughters, Ronda K. Blastic of Champion, Dawn M. Wilcox of Mansfield and Traci L. Duncan of Liberty; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Private family services will be held, and there will be no visitation.
Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman with full military honors.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren.
