YOUNGSTOWN - Ronald J. Edwards, 73, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
He was born July 9, 1939, in Warren, the son of James and Ida Mae Simons Edwards.
Ronald retired as a sergeant first class from the U.S. Army. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964.

Survivors include his wife, the former Brenda Laney; a daughter, April Rich of Youngstown; a son, Ron Edwards of Mineral Ridge; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Christy Armory in Austintown.
The Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman is handling arrangements.
