HUBBARD - George E. Summers, 82, died Friday afternoon, March 8, 2013, in his home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Youngstown, a son of Alvin and Jane Dunmire Summers.
He was the superintendent of Harding Park, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia P. Fye Summers; sons, George E. Jr. of Lousville, Ky., and Patrick and Michael, both of Hubbard; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and two still stillborn siblings.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery
