WARREN - Rosa L. Bennett, 86, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 18, 1927, in Morgantown, W.Va., the daughter of the late John K. and Georgianna Austin Morris.
Rosa, formerly of Newton Falls and Windham, has lived in Warren for the past year.

She retired from GM in Lordstown and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Windham. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, reading, cooking and spending time with the grandkids.
Survivors include her children, D. Roy (Linda) Carpenter of Warren, Linda Balzer of Newton Falls and Mellany Wooten of Ravenna; grandchildren, Shawn and Brent Carpenter, Olivia Simpson, Brock Brunstertter, Peter Carpenter, Rob McPherson, Adam and Sara Balzer, Jason Purdy, Aaron Bennett, Ryan Bennett, Tessa Wallace, Chanda Blewitt and Brittany and Ian Wooten; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, David Morris, and sisters, Ruth Morrison and Gene Osburn, all of West Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Denzil Carpenter and Russell B. Bennett; a daughter, Barb Blewitt; a son, Russell B. Bennett; a son-in-law, Daniel Balzer; and four brothers.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service to be held noon Thursday at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes, Ravenna Chapel, with Pastor Larry Engle officiating.
Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Ravenna.
