NEW MIDDLETOWN - Josephine M. Casalini, 83, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.
She was born Oct. 11, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of Henry and Minnie Vivo Skarote.
Josephine was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and retired from Youngstown City Schools as a lunch aide.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Casalini of New Middletown; three sisters, Katherine Hickey of Hilliard, Mary Salreno of Youngstown and Elisabeth Mirone of Girard; two brothers, Gerald Skarote of Poland and Joseph Skarote of Struthers; a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldo Casalini, and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home, Boardman.
