YOUNGSTOWN - Therese Droney, 87, died Thursday evening, Feb. 28, 2013, in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
She was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Brindza Thurik.
Therese was retired from the Dollar Savings and Trust, where she was an administrator of employees' benefits. She was a member of St. Brendan Church.

Survivors include two sons, John ''Jack'' Droney of Youngstown and Timothy Droney of New Britian, Conn.; a sister, Catherine Lutz of Youngstown; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis ''Frank'' Droney; three brothers; four sisters; and a grandson.
Funeral services will be 9:15 a.m. Monday at Kinnick Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Brendan Church. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
