CORTLAND - Pearl Edna "Peg" Viole, 71, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in the emergency room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a battle with cancer.
She was born in Warren, Feb. 24, 1942, the daughter of William Henry and Florence Ellen Fuller Gohdes.
She was the owner of Designer Two Fabrics in Cortland and of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph A. Viole, and her daughter, Christina E. Ervin of Naples, Fla.
Her sister preceded her in death.
Per Peg's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
Arrangements were handled by Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland.
