HUNTSBURG - Patricia M. Jonath, 60, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1952, in Bedford, the daughter of Nicholas and Grace Donaldson Motil.
After graduating from Cardinal High School in 1970, she attended Kent State University for three years.

Patricia married William Jonath on Oct. 16, 1976, in Claridon. They were married 36 years and were lifelong residents of this area. She was a member of the Ladies' Bunko Group that met every other Monday in the fall and winter.
Her hobbies included cooking and flower and vegetable gardening. She grew pumpkins for the Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival and enjoyed helping others. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly by her husband, Bill; her son, Robert (Brittany) Jonath of Huntsburg; her daughter, Brenda (Jack) Newman of Sandusky; and her three grandchildren, Sierra Marty, Jasmine and Michael Newman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Motil; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Evelyn McGranahan.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St., Middlefield. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Middlefield Cemetery.
