LIBERTY - John L. Polish, 84, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Hospice House.
John was born Nov. 6, 1928, in Youngstown, the son of Angelo and Essie Thomas Pulice.
John worked for General Fireproofing and was of the Catholic faith.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Tomko of Liberty, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine W. Ohle Polish, a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
