WARREN -- A warrant has been issued for a man city police believe stole a woman's purse a purse earlier this month.
Police said they identified Mykael Zolovick, 19, no current address available, through dozens of tips they received after a picture captured from a security camera was published in the Tribune Chronicle on Thursday.
According to police, an elderly woman was in front of the Giant Eagle on Elm Road about 2 p.m. Feb. 9 when a man took her purse. The woman told police the man was with another man and they left in a silver Pontiac G6.
Police are asking that anyone with information about the incident or Zolovick's whereabouts to contact Warren Detective Mike Currington at 330-841-2660.
