TWINSBURG 74, WARREN G. HARDING 31: AKRON - Brooke Smith had a game-high 20 points to lead the Tigers past the Raiders during this Division I sectional final.
Ashley Morrissette had 16, while Baleick Reid added 12 for Twinsburg (24-0), which plays Aurora, which beat Boardman in another sectional final, during Thursday's district semifinal.
Patrai Murray paced Harding with 12 points, while Maya Bell added 10 for Harding (4-19).
POLAND 44, SOUTHEAST 28: AUSTINTOWN - Rachael Robertson had a game-high 17 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Bulldogs past the Pirates in this Division II sectional semifinal.
Aleah Hughes put in 11, while Kasie Serich added 10 for Poland, which now plays Ravenna in Saturday's sectional final that starts at 4 p.m.
Shana White paced Southeast with 13 points.
STRUTHERS 69, CRESTWOOD 51: AUSTINTOWN - Struthers had five players in double figures as the Wildcats beat the Red Devils in a Division II sectional final at Austintown Fitch High School.
Brittaney Zupko paced Struthers with 18 points and Ashley Hefferon added 13 for Struthers, which plays the winner of Saturday's Canfield-Niles sectional final in Thursday's district semifinal.
Ashleigh Ryan and McKenna Shives each had 11 points, while Halle Smrek had 10.
LORDSTOWN 52, MATHEWS 39: ROOTSTOWN - Only up six points going into the final quarter, the Red Devils outscored the Mustangs by seven points to clinch a sectional final win.
Sarah Cash led the way for the Red Devils (19-4) once again, scoring six of her game-high 20 points in the fourth. Marlena Liming had 14 points for Lordstown, and Ally Hajnosz added 11
Tess Dickerson scored three of Mathews' five points in the final quarter and finished with a team-high 15 points, while Dayna Ellis added 10 for the Mustangs (10-14).
Lordstown moves on to the district semifinal next Thursday to face Cornerstone Christian at 6 p.m. in Rootstown.
CORNERSTONE CHRISTIAN 57, WINDHAM 54: ROOTSTOWN - The Patriots made their free throws down the stretch to hold off the Bombers in their sectional final matchup.
Cornerstone Christian (16-3) put on a 12-of-17 performance from the charity strip, making up 75 percent of the team's points seven in the final quarter. Payton Buell and Jordan Cloonan paced the Patriots with 21 and 17 points, respectively.
The duo of Brittany Knight and Jessica Isler led the Bombers (13-11), combining for 32 points in the losing effort.
PYMATUNING VALLEY 68, SPRINGFIELD 42:?MINERAL RIDGE - Kelsea Brown scored 22 points to lead the Lakers past the Tigers in a Division III sectional final.
Overall, the Lakers (21-2) shot 70-perfect from the field on just 10 field goal attempts in the opening quarter and for the game finished at 58.7 percent.
Callie Ford led Springfield (7-14) with 16 points.
Geena Gabriel scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Lakers.
