BROOKFIELD - Bristol High School's Ally Jones reached 1,000 points earlier this season.
The Panthers post player grabbed 16 rebounds to eclipse the 1,000-rebound barrier Thursday in a 50-27 loss to Brookfield.
Brookfield led from the start as Bristol was not able to rally back.
Kayla Boyer and Tori Thompson each scored 11 points for Brookfield (11-10).
Laurin Elza led Bristol with nine points. Jones was limited to three points.
Bristol (15-6) shot 6 of 20 from the foul line.
NEWTON FALLS 61, MAPLEWOOD 55 (OT): NEWTON FALLS - Newton Falls finishes the season 19-3, setting the school record for most wins in a season by its girls team.
Down by five points in the fourth quarter, Newton Falls rallied back to tie the game to send it to overtime. Efficient foul shooting by the Tigers helped seal the victory. Newton Falls scored 12 points in OT, eight of the points came from free-throws as the Tigers shot 8-10 from the line in the additional period.
Hannah Zelle led Newton Falls with 19 points and Brooke Barreca recorded a double-double - scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
Allison Bell scored 18 for Maplewood (16-5), Brooke Dawson scored 16 and Ryley Urchek chipped in with 12.
POLAND 59, HUBBARD 44: HUBBARD -Poland hit seven 3-pointers and performances by Kasie Serich and Aleah Hughes helped the Bulldogs notch a win.
Serich hit six 3-pointers and ended up scoring a total of 20 points on the night. Hughes added 19 for the Bulldogs.
Hubbard's Emily Manion led things offensively, scoring 16 points and hit four 3-balls in the loss.
Boys basketball
PYMATUNING VALLEY 59, BADGER 24: PYMATUNING VALLEY - Pymatuning Valley led after the first quarter and used a big third quarter to earn the victory.
PV led 17-8 after the first, and then shutout Badger 20-0 in the third quarter to devastate the Braves.
Quintin Ratliff dropped 18 points for the Lakers, Tim Cross added 13 and Austin Nowakowski poured in 11. Matt Kranl scored 10 points for Badger.
