NILES - Willie James Huffman Sr., 87, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
He was born July 28, 1925, in Swansea, S.C., and was the son of the late Felder Huffman and Alberta Jumper Huffman.
He worked for the City of Warren, was a member of Grace Baptist Church and attended Central Baptist Church.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Willie will be sadly missed by his wife, Gloria J. Oliver Huffman; two sons, Willie James (Judy) Huffman Jr. of Bazetta and Samuel (Kathy) Huffman of Atwater; his daughter, Belinda (Dennis) Miller of Niles; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred, Christine and Dorothy.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 N. Park Ave., Warren, with the Rev. Richard Peffers officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Howland Township Cemetery.
