George William and Marilyn Jean Papp celebrated their diamond anniversary with family on Feb. 2, 2013, at D'Jon's Steak and Lobster House in Melbourne, Fla.
They were married on Jan. 30, 1953, in Salinevilleo.
They have two sons, William Robert and David James; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He is a retired CPA partner at Packer Thomas Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants, and a former Warren Rotarian.
The family says she is a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was also an excellent hostess who threw memorable parties, the family says.
They lived in the Warren area for years before moving to Melbourne.
