BROOKFIELD - A boil alert has been issued in Brookfield for the following areas: Warren-Sharon Road east of Valley View Drive, Lincoln Avenue, Yankee Run Road, Brookfield Avenue, Golf Drive, Wintergreen Driver and Spring Road.
A boil alert means that precautions should be taken to boil tap water used for drinking and ingestion. A rolling boil for three to five minutes is adequate.
The alert is in effect until further notice.
