MASSILLON - Virginia R. Smith, 83, formerly of Warren, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Legends Care Center in Massillon.
She was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Demopolis, Ala., the daughter of Herbert and Augusta Jackson Taylor.
Virginia retired as a nurse's aid at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. She was a member of Greater Apostolic Faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Emma A. Bledsoe of Canton; a brother, William McKenney of Milwaukee; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Smith; a son, Henry "Jack" Brown; a granddaughter; and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Staton Borowski Funeral Home in Warren, where friends may call one hour before the service.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
