Rudolph J. Korzekwa 1937-2013

CLEVELAND - Rudolph J. Korzekwa, 75, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.

He was born May 25, 1937, in Cleveland, the son of Chester and Matilda Brenek Korzekwa.

Rudolph served in the U.S. Army and was a laborer at Riley Tar.

Survivors include four sons, Joseph Marcella, Ronnie Marcella and Robert Korzekwa of Cleveland and John Korzekwa of Garrettsville; seven daughters, Patricia Abraham, Sandy Tuma, Debbie Kawecki and Linda Schmitt of Cleveland, Peggy Kepich and Ann Marie Scopilliti of Hiram and Terri Schmitz of Apex, N.C.; a brother, David of Cleveland; three sisters, Barbara Korzekwa of Brecksville and Debbie Kiska and Diane Disterhoff of Cleveland; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Janet Aspery Korzekwa; a brother; and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m.

Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.

Arrangements were handled by Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Garrettsville.
