WARREN - The second of two men accused of attacking a man last summer after posing as perspective home buyers was sentenced today to eight years behind bars.

Jermaine Johnson, 36, of Wick Street S.E., pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated burglary and receiving stolen property. He waived any pre-sentence investigation before Common Pleas Judge W. Wyatt McKay handed down the sentence.

Johnson had been in jail in lieu of $100,000 bond since his arrest a day after the incident at the home of a Central Parkway man on July 29.

Police say Johnson and Ritchie L. Paden, 31, of DeForest Road S.E., told the homeowner they were interested in buying his home.
